My dad is Francis Joseph.. but we celebrate him everyday.
Wow,chocolate covered zeppole! Now you’re talking! I wish I lived closer otherwise I would have gone to your sister’s pastry shop. The pastry shops on this side of MA make them just alright. We had them with chocolate chips or cherries…But any way you have it,it’s all so delicious
Happy belated San Giuseppe,auguri!
One of my favorite feast days that too often gets lost being on the heels St. Patrick. What a great excuse to break a Lenten fast.
As much as I love living in the Pacific Nortwest,I do miss places like Giovanni’s.
This is something looking very tasty,Yumm!!
You are so lucky to have an Italian pastry shop in the family! Happy birthday
I love Zeppole. I’ve never had it dipped in chocolate but it sure looks good.
They are really hard to find here in Arizona but we manage to track them down ever year!
What a wonderful tradition. Any time you can celebrate with pastries is a good thing.
That chocolate-covered zeppole looks too good to have only one day a year. Best to celebrate more often with those sweet gems. A belated happy birthday,Joe!
which is the way it should be Laurie:)
Thanks Carla…you are so right, anyway you look at it,delicious. Mike’s is ok.
Don,by the looks of it you could probably start your own out there!
Maryann…lucky how? lucky I go to the gym!
Food hunter.. everything is better dipped in chocolate isn’t it?;)
Sierra.. in my family it’s way too often!
Thanks Barabara! one a day? I don’t think I could do it.
