I continuously see commercials for large chain restaurants that promote their pizza or pasta or panini or whatever “they think”Italian food is and how they have conquered it…finally!! The ones that irk me the most recently are from Pizza Hut. One commercial shows how they [...] One of the most unique and beautiful tourist attractions in Calabria in my opinion is,“la Chiesetta Di Piedigrotta”in Pizzo Calabro. Pizzo Calabro is a picturesque fishing town on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria and la Chiesetta Di Piedigrotta is actually located on the road into town on the SS 522,about 4km [...] Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is like “French Wine”or “Swiss Chocolate”or “German Cars”…Italy isn’t the largest producer of Olive Oil (Spain is) but Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is in its own class…not to take anything away from any other country as there is certainly high quality products elsewhere,possibly [...] Italians are big on superstitions…. it’s true.
