There’s something special about the olive, with it’s silver looking leaves and the way it flutters in the wind. It’s timeless.

I was in Santa Monica last week but I’m back!:) The weather was beautiful and it’s so nice to see olive trees. There’s something special about the olive, with it’s silver looking leaves and the way it flutters in the wind. It’s timeless.

Saturday night, E and I had dinner in the dark….. as I’m sure many of you know, there was a worldwide event called “Earth Hour” where cities across the world shut off their lights from 8pm-9pm to bring awareness to global warming and save a bit of energy. We finished cooking by candlelight as we got home a little late from running some errands. Don’t worry though, the pasta came out delicious. It’s true…. Italians can cook pasta with their eyes closed!
